Voidstar, written in big blue block letters

Voidstar is a sci-fi fantasy world-building project turned webcomic, set in the Pelexat Galaxy, a setting I've been developing for a number of years now. The Webcomic follows two aliens, Xari and Wev as they flee their home in order to protect Ravu, a newly hatched, living god - at least, that’s what everyone claims Ravu is at least. Together the trio travel the Galaxy, hoping to find a place where they can all finally be safe.

The comic is still in development, but you can read about it’s world, the characters and the setting below:

Writing disability with Cy Cyborg

Disability is a topic that not many creators, be they character designers, authors or game developers, know how to handle in their works. This more often than not, leads to portrayals of disability that, while they mean well, aren’t… always the greatest. So to help, I created “writing disability with Cy Cyborg” where I share advice from my perspective as an autistic amputee and wheelchair user. I also dissect and discuss existing examples of disability representation in the media, look at the tropes contained within them, and discuss the some good-to-know disability basics that might not be restricted to the world of writing and creating.
